"Early in 2005, I asked Isabelle if she would consider making me a simple, classic suit. She was enthused by the idea, & soon we were talking about the design & fabrics. Her approach of engaging with you, the customer, throughout is that which makes the experience of commissioning Isabelle so special. As Isabelle had never made a man's suit before, the process was particularly memorable & fascinating for me, knowing that the project would be both an experiment & an experience.
I've had suits made for me before, but never with such a level of personal attention & genuine enthusiasm & desire to make sure that the suit was exactly right for me, regardless of how much extra work or thought it required on Isabelle's part. The small touches & details are what make the suit special: real buttonholes on the sleeves, no flaps on the pockets, the size & positioning of inside pockets, especially the wee tricky mobile phone sized one. Even the fabric underneath the collar is perfect, & though it will never see the light of day it is great to know it is there. The finished suit is elegant & timeless, absolutely unique, & quite simply a joy to wear & own."

A friend mentioned that Isabelle was moving into menswear so I commisioned a suit. The process of designing the suit was very collaborative, from picking fabrics to specifics on the cut of the suit. Isabelle was happy to continually modify the design to match my initial ideas with what ws looking good on my frame. Watching the suit come together throughout the fitting process was great fun & I couldn't be happier with the finished garment. It feels like the most comfortable piece of clothing I own but looks super-sharp!"
